I move between mathematics and the humanities, and I don't want to choose a side. Each asks the question I care about most: how do we know/prove what feels true?

In mathematics, an answer is built through proof. In literature, music, philosophy, and art, it often begins with intuition. My work lives in the conversation between the two: discipline giving imagination a form, and imagination giving discipline a reason to matter.
在数学中，答案通过证明建立；在文学、音乐、哲学与艺术中，答案往往始于直觉。我的工作存在于二者的对话里：纪律赋予想象形式，想象则让纪律拥有值得坚持的理由。

Writing and inquiry occupied the same landscape. Creative writing sharpened my attention to voice, form, and the patient work of revision; the wide intellectual atmosphere reminded me that curiosity does not need to stay inside one department. This reminds me, however, University of Chicago may not enter my world.
本质上，写作与求知是同一片风景。创意写作让我更敏锐地关注声音、形式与耐心修改的过程；广阔的学术氛围也提醒我，好奇心没有必要被限制在单一学科之中。然而，我也因此想明白了我对大学的真实想法。

Visual attention视觉注意
Art gives intuition a surface. I am learning to look more slowly—to notice scale, shadow, rhythm, and the way a space can make thought physical. As a lazy artist, I indulge myself in painting the surface only.
